About this essay
Compare and Contrast life in 1830's & now.docx

Life in the 1830’s was very different from life now. People, cities, towns and work: everything was different. Communication was incredibly difficult, and same with the living conditions. In this essay, I will be comparing lifestyles, work, and entertainment. I will compare our current age to the 19th century. Now a days everything is at our fingertips, we can order anything online, we can travel anywhere in the world in less than a day, it has made the world so small, everything is connected. A new invention in another country, will be in yours within a day.

These ships would be traveling on the open water for roughly a month, maybe even two; if circumstances forced it. People on board had to supply themselves with their own food. No food was served to them, so it was not like a cruise ship, or really any kind of ship nowadays.

Susanne and Catherine arrived to Upper Canada in the year 1832. They did not arrive with a lot
