A Lab Experiment on the Grignard Reaction to Yield an Alcohol

This is a lab report created as the result of a scientific experiment. The report includes an abstract, procedure, calculations, discussion, and conclusion. The experiment included using a Grignard reaction to determine the identity of a product. The product ended up being an alcohol that was extracted, washed, dried and evaporated to obtain it. Tools used to conduct this experiment were flasks, stir rods, an ice bath, a heating mantle, a cotton plug, a funnel, and litmus paper.
