Jessica's feedback:
"You've done a good job discussing the movie "The Blind Side" in this essay. You stayed focused on the movie's important elements, including the plot and storyline, the characters, the themes, etc. You included important details and supported them with quotes and references from the movie and other sources. Your paper does need a round of editing and proofreading, however, to fix sentence structure, grammar issues, spelling errors, and punctuation errors, such as missing commas and apostrophes. Watch for a confusing use of pronouns (he, she, his, hers, etc.) where the pronoun's antecedent (the person you are referring to) is unclear. For example, in the paragraph where you discuss Michael's parents, you say that "his father was in prison for the longest time, until he was murdered. He was attending the school but was failing academically." Of course, it was Michael who was attending school, but without clarification it seems that you are still talking about his father. It's always a good idea to read over your work and make sure that each sentence says exactly what you mean for it to say. Finally, refer to the MLA style guidelines for the correct formatting of in-text citations and your "Works Cited" (not "Word Cited" list)."
