Angela's feedback:
"You do a great job of integrating quotes from the speech into your work and providing proper citations for the material. Moreover, your essay gets off to a strong start with the introductory paragraph. But your analysis, while valid, is often repetitive and sometimes lacking. For example, your third body paragraph is very short and doesn’t include much commentary at all. In terms of writing conventions, it would be better to consistently use either “African American” or “Black” instead of switching between the two terms, and there are some word choice issues with terms such as “affix” and “underwent.” A thorough review is needed to ensure that your statements correctly reflect your ideas. For example, the phrase “the unjust treatment they have been withheld” is awkward and confusing. When showing quotes within quotes, single quotation marks should be nested within double quotation marks."
