Angela's feedback:
"You provide a balanced discussion of the problem with costly college textbooks. It's notable that you dedicate a large portion of your essay to explaining why the current situation exists and how it is a financially damaging cycle. Though it may be outside the scope of your work, adding some thoughts on how this situation could be remedied or alleviated would strengthen your essay because then you wouldn't simply be stating a problem but also providing some potential solutions. While you have a great handle on writing conventions overall, note that use of singular "they" is still discouraged in academic writing. Recasting sentences is often the easiest way to take care of the issue. For example, instead of pairing "the student" with "they," you can use the plural "students" with "they.""
