This is an analytical essay about a piece written by Jean Anyon titled "Social Class and the Hidden Curriculum of Work". The author details how Anyon experimented by observing four types of schools: working class, middle class, affluent professional, and executive elite. From Anyon's observations, she determined that among the four types of schools, classes are run differently, students express their knowledge differently, and students must follow directions differently.
