Bridget's feedback:
"This is a solid close-read of the story that makes good use of textual detail to explain how Dahl creates effect. Breaking the story down and following the plot introduces an element of craft discussion to the project (is this allowable per your prompt?); while I normally advise against hewing so closely to the plot, because your stated focus is in how Dahl builds up detail, this organization makes sense. Asserting the craft aspect of your analysis may help deepen moments when the commentary strays too far into summary: for example, not only is it clever of her to stay and see what's going on, it may also be necessary, depending on the point of view, so that the reader sees, as well.
There are fairly frequent errors in the writing, particularly around quotations; check your style guide for examples and further guidance (and for page, line, and paragraph formatting). Similarly, a careful proofread should be used to catch other mechanics issues, including comma usage."
