Bridget's feedback:
"As the reader, I really appreciate your melding of critical analysis and personal reflection to provide a deeper look at this painting. I did find myself hoping for more sourcing, perhaps in signal phrases that help contextualize your analysis in the work of other art theorists, but this may depend on the prompt or purpose; your engagement with the text (the painting) shows control and depth, so the ethos doesn't necessarily overtly suffer from a lack of directly integrated literature -- however, it could really enhance the discussion and show how your analysis is in conversation with earlier interpretations (as your last two paragraphs demonstrate).
As you move into the final moments of the writing process, I recommend a proofread to catch occasional clarity issues ("Malevich's painting seemed to borrow" -- does this refer to Red Square or his oeuvre more generally?). I also recommend introducing the painting's official name to help explain the starting point from which any interpretation naturally proceeds."
