"It's great that you go beyond the usual link between The Crucible and the Red Scare and draw parallels to other, more recent events. However, these parallels could be spelled out in a stronger way, especially with regard to Watergate. While you mention the scandal, your essay does not explain how it relates to the play. The connection to 9/11 could also be explained more thoroughly. When quoting material, make sure the quotation directly relates to and supports the points you are making. Consider having the essay proofread as there are a number of grammatical errors and awkward sentences that make the essay difficult to read."
