Talia's feedback:
"You have some awesome goals for the year! I really hope you achieve them! You might want to think about coming up with some specific strategies for putting effort into your work. For example, one strategy could be "I will work on homework in a quiet place, and I will not try to watch TV or go on my phone (or my parents' phones) until I am done working." I noticed that you didn't explain the goal of "being smarter," and I am curious to know what you mean by that and how you plan to achieve it. I would also recommend that you add a conclusion at the end of your essay. Finally, there are some errors in grammar throughout your essay. I'd recommend that you have a friend, parent, or Kibin editor give you some full feedback so that it ends up in great shape! Also, if your teacher is strict about style guidelines, make sure to look up MLA style and format your heading based on those guidelines!"

Essays may be lightly modified for readability or to protect the anonymity of contributors, but we do not edit essay examples prior to publication. (And nope, we don't source our examples from our editing service! Check out our Privacy and Content Sharing policies for more information.)
