"Nursing is a fantastic pursuit and needed more than ever right now. Overall, I think this is an incredibly strong personal statement. You remained focused on the task at hand, provided great details about your motivations for pursuing this program, organized your sections well, and had very few conventional errors. Your formatting was also neat and consistent, with appropriately spaced paragraph breaks. I would advise you to perhaps shorten the section about your “weakness” (don’t want to focus on them too much, after all). Additionally, I did feel that it began to get a little repetitive towards the end, so watch out for that. Also be sure not to overuse the word “many” and double check that your punctuation is placed correctly when it comes to items in quotes (for example, placing commas within quotations like in “‘what you know,’” as opposed to “‘what you know’,”). I would also suggest including more personal details about your background, as this is what will set you apart from other applicants. You mention that one of your family members is also a nurse. Have they inspired you in some way? That info would be great to include towards the beginning of your statement rather than the end. Other than these little suggestions, you did a wonderful job and the world will certainly be better for your passion for and dedication to nursing!"
