"You have done a good job going into detail about about your character and values. You also did a great job discussing skills you have acquired. The essay currently does not have an introduction or a conclusion. Including these might have give your essay some direction. Right now, it kind of feels all over the place and it is unclear what the goal of your essay is. Also, despite you including transitions between ideas, they seem forced and aren't logical, leading to confusion for the reader. For example, the introduction of your passion for a career in law seems confusing since there was no mention of law in the paragraph before. Consider using a word other than evidently as a transition word. Evidently means obviously, and it is not obvious that your friends would say that about you. If the goal of the essay is to be awarded a scholarship, the goal should be apparent in every paragraph. There are a number of grammar and sentence structure errors throughout the essay that need to be resolved. While it is a nice sentiment to say that being awarded the scholarship would show your mom that her hard work paid off, it would be better to let the committee know how the scholarship will help you directly."
