"This is a fascinating topic, and I was really interested to learn about how the disappearing town is a common legend. The presence of transitional and signposting language, as well as a solid organization and essay structure, gets your reader started in parsing out the focus and purpose of the essay. More information should be given early on that lets the reader know the text under analysis: whether it's the musical, the film version, etc. Make sure, as well, to check your assigned style guide and make any necessary changes to line spacing, paragraph formatting, and so on--these bring visual clarity and a polished look that evidences ethos.

It's clear you've found some really interesting things in the course of your research, and your point about how each represent either pessimistic or optimistic world views shows you're successfully digging past the surface in your analysis; frequent grammar issues, unclear or imprecise diction, and similar errors, however, make the text very hard to understand. The reader, forced to decipher for meaning, will pretty quickly lose track of the details of the discussion. Your main task moving forward will be to fix those issues so the text can effectively convey ideas to the reader."
